1st Scottish Mini Bike Championship 6.2hp class - Polini.
2nd Scottish Mini Bike Championship Open class – Polini
2005 Moved up to road racing, raced an Aprilia RS125 and competed in some Superteen races, best finish 8th out of 40 riders. Won maiden race at Knockhill in the Formula 125 class.
2006 3rd ACU Star Cup Aprilia RS125 / 1st Scottish Formula 125 class.
2007 7th Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup
Broke right femur in an early season British Championship crash and missed many races.
Finished 15th in the British Championship,
10th in the under 16 cup with a 1st and 3rd race results.
2008 14th Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. Broke the same right femur in a similar early British Championship crash after a double podium in the opening races of the Rookies Cup at Jerez. Returned to the Cup for the final weekend in Brno for a 4th.


"I am out to finish in the top three... or win the Cup this year. I worked hard all winter to be ready for the start of the year. I did a lot of boxing training, everything except getting into the ring. I did everything I could, also riding motocross and mini bikes."

"I am also going to be doing the British Championship on a 125 Honda, so a lot of racing. I really want to progress this year and then move on to Grand Prix next year, I know you need to be on a good bike so I have to show what I can do this season in the Rookies Cup."

"One of the things that I know I have to improve on is qualifying, it is going to be so competitive this year that you have to have a good grid position. Plus I've not got to break any bones like I have the last two years."

"It is a lot of fun riding the Grand Prix tracks, my favourites are Jerez and Assen, the first I go well at and the second I like the surface and the layout. Of course I watch the GP stars and it is Alvaro Bautista that really impresses me, he even compares with Rossi."
