Blog | Omar Bonoli feeling lucky though not thrilled with recent races

Hello to all from Italy,

This is a difficult time for my beautiful country and my thoughts are with all the people, and especially the children and the kids like me, who experienced the earthquake.

There are so many of guys with my same age who are left without parents, others who have lost their lives while they were in the safest place in the world: their house.

With this fixed idea, with the images of the bulletin in my memory, I restart my routine "after the summer" with school work and workouts at the gym.

And so I feel so lucky. I am fortunate to always have my certainties and my relatives close to me.
... And with all this awareness, I feel more strong.

At the Red Bull Ring and in Brno I did not have much feeling with my bike. I had some difficulties, especially in qualifying and I could not go on and on but all in all have been two positive weekend for getting comfortable with the bike and with myself.

In Brno it was a special weekend because it was the 400th Grand Prix and we celebrated together with all the drivers and mechanics.

I cannot wait to get back on the bike right in the circuit of my lovely Italy, my home race will be dedicated to the people Amatri.

Bye,
