Kevin Orgis Aragon Test

Blog | Kevin Orgis working hard to get the best settings for both his KTMs

Hi everybody,

Two weeks ago was the first Red Bull Rookies Cup Test in Aragon and it was great there. In the first session I had a good feeling but then I crashed because it was still very cold.

When we went out for our second session the temperature was higher so we could push harder. After the long winter break I felt immediately at home on the KTM after the first practices and we tried out many things to improve the setting. But every time we changed something I couldn't match my good feeling from the first sessions and I wasn't improving myself.

The whole second day I tried to get my feeling back but it wasn't working at all. On the last day I wanted to follow the faster riders and I crashed. But after this we knew how to improve the bike and in the last session, the race simulation, I improved myself a lot.

After this test in Aragon we travelled to Misano, where the Northern Europe Cup test was. This year I'm also riding a KTM there. But the bike has more extra weight cause of the regulations. But we tried out many things and with the heavier bike I could make the same lap time as last year with the KTM from the Red Bull Rookies Cup and so I think that the race there will be good.

I also worked as an instructor rider for the young guys in the ADAC Junior Cup powered by KTM to show them the track in Misano and it was a nice experience.

With a good feeling I'm looking forward to my first race with the NEC in Assen in a week and only one week later will be the first Rookies Cup race in Jerez.

See you,
